The Balloon Garland was the main focal point of Cash’s Safari Birthday Party. It was also the easiest decoration for the whole event! Well, everything was pretty easy actually. With the correct tools and supplies, I was surprised at how fast this Balloon Garland came together.
DIY Balloon Garland
I had been wanting to take on this DIY for some time and this Safari Party was the perfect opportunity. I had this collection of green balloons from a previous event and these safari balloons were too cute to pass up.
What you need
All you need for are a ton of balloons, about 75-100. The Safari Balloons cam in a pack of 24 and then I filled in with solid green. The real trick to pulling this off is using a Balloon Garland Tape which you can buy on Amazon. You get 32 feet on one tape and lots more for only $8. WELL Worth it!
I only used 9′ of the tape and left a lot of it unused, coiled up on the ground. On this magic Balloon Garland Tape, there are holes to insert your balloons. Overall, the hardest part of this entire project was blowing up 75+ balloons!

Extra Details
For the final touch, I bought a surplus of ivy garlands & greenery from The Dollar Tree. I wrapped them around the whole Garland until it looked nice and full.

Added Bonus, after the party the boys took all the balloons into their room for a few days and had a blast burying each other in their make-shift safari balloon pit!
