Spring is the perfect time to go through all your favorite pictures from the previous year. I always feel the need to refresh my home after we start opening the windows. Custom Canvas Prints are my go-to for family pictures.
Spring reminds me of changes and everything around me growing. What better way to celebrate spring, than updating your family pictures? I found the perfect resource for Custom Canvas Prints in PhotoWall.
PhotoWall | Custom Canvas Prints
PhotoWall is a Swedish company that produces a variety of artwork from prints to even custom wallpaper. I was drawn to them because their prices are affordable, and you can alter the sizes of your print to many options. You can order huge wall murals in their designs or your own. The shipping and turnaround time is ridiculously fast too!

I ordered a Custom Canvas Print and it arrived within a week. I don’t know how fast the wallpaper ships, but I imagine it is relatively close.
When to Order | Updating your Home Décor
PhotoWall is going to be a great resource for you if you’ve just had a wedding, did your Senior Pictures or had a Family Photoshoot. This was the case for me. We had a professional photographer do a session for us around Christmas and it turned out beautifully. I’ve been waiting and waiting to get some of these pictures up in our house. The timing is perfect. As mentioned, Spring is a time to celebrate growth and new chapters. This is the first and print I have on the wall of my boys this age!

Why Order | Fast & Affordable
Options for Custom Canvas Prints can be found all over the internet, but I was drawn to Photowall because of their quality and speed. The bonus is they’re also very affordable. That affordability comes from the DIY aspect of your order. Your Custom Canvas Prints can be shipped so fast and for FREE because they send it to you in a rolled canvas and frame kit.

How to Assemble your Custom Canvas Prints
My canvas came rolled up with a DIY frame kit in the box. I began my assembly project by pulling everything out of the box and counting the supplies. You receive a set of printed directions that are super simple {written in English} and easy to read.
Step 1 | Count all your Pieces
Like most assemble kits you receive a few pouches of pieces. Pull them all out and count before you start.

Step 2 | Lay Flat and Align your Frame
I had thought I would do this on the bed, but it proves to be too unlevel. So, we moved the whole project to the floor. The canvas was not damaged by doing this, but you can elect to put a cloth under it if you wish. There are a few key parts to this step. You really need to make sure all your frame pieces are facing the correct way, with the lip in. As well as you must make sure your corners have enough room to fold up. I laid out my canvas and frame pieces BEFORE I removed the covers on the adhesive strips.

Step 3 | Affix the Canvas to the Frame
I’ll admit, this step was a little nerve-racking. But it proved to be a whole lot easier than expected. Once you remove the adhesive strip covers, you have one shot since you cannot unstick the canvas. To make sure I did mine straight, I laid the edges next to each other. I then made sure they were all straight and level before I rolled the frame onto the canvas. Sticky side down. So long as you’re careful you’ll still be straight!

Step 4 | Folding in the Corners & Frame
Once everything is stuck, you can fold in the canvas corners. You fold them into the corner of the frame so that when the frame folds they are hidden. Here is where you can make sure the canvas is nice and tight. When all your corners are folded, fold in the wood frame pieces.

Step 5 | Secure your Hardware
Here is the step where you make your canvas stretched tight. Find all your hardware and begin in one corner. The bolts are nice and big to make it easier. Next, do the opposite corner. The order of the remaining two corners is not as important as the first two opposites.

Hang and enjoy! If the artwork you choose is seasonal you can rotate it within your seasonal home décor, or you can leave it up all year. You can choose a TON of sizes. I can see a giant canvas hanging in a Photographer’s office! Or a great family picture in your hallway.
