If you’re coming over from the How to make Seed Bombs Post you’re in the right spot. In this post we’re still celebrating Teacher Appreciation week by telling your favorite teachers, “You’re the Bomb!” but we’re highlighting our Lavender Seed Bombs and Appreciation Cards.

What you need for Lavender Seed Bombs:
The Tools List is exactly the same as before in the How to Make Seed Bombs Post and you already have most of it at home. Tools you’ll need include:
- Mini Muffin Tin for drying
- Bowl for Mixing
- Wisk for Mixing
- Measuring Cup
- 1/4 Cup Warm Water
- 1/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour
Ingredients you’ll need to obtain include:
Lavender Seeds
You can pick these up just about anywhere in the Spring. There are two kinds and both are herbs, but one is more fragrant than the other. When giving your Lavender Seed Bombs as gifts, think of where your recipient will be planting it. In a window sill or in an herb garden.
Seed Bomb Paper Kits
These are the foundation for the Seed Bombs. I have put together a few color combinations in my Etsy Shop for you to use but for this recipe you’ll want to select the Lavender Seed Bombs Paper Kit. The Seed Bomb Paper Kits are the perfect amount of recycled, biodegradable paper to use in your Seed Bomb. The Lavender Seed Bombs Kit contains 3 colors that you mix together. The amount in the Seed Bomb Paper Kits yields about 3 Seed Bombs when your project is finished. This is if you’re using the size for the Appreciation Cards. You can absolutely make smaller Seed Bombs too.

Appreciation Cards
Purchase and Download the 25 pages of Appreciation Cards on Etsy. Only print the pages you want to use in your Printer Settings 🙂
If you’re giving your Seed Bombs as a gift these PDF Printable Appreciation Cards are PERFECT! I have designed 25 different styles for you to download and use. You will need a Circle Punch to cut the hole for your Seed Bombs, or you can use scissors.
Now let’s make some Seed Bombs!

Step 1: Mix all your Ingredients
Cash was at school when we did this one but Wyatt, the 4yo, had no problem on his own. He felt like a professional now after doing this before with the original post.

Step 2: Wisk Everything Together
Let the kids get mixing and then scoop it into Lavender Seed Bombs. Place them in your Mini Muffin Tin to dry. For this round, I used slightly less water than the 1/4 cup and the dried much faster.

Step 3: Wrap and Gift
After your Lavender Seed Bombs are dry, print your Lavender Appreciation Cards by only selecting those pages in your Printer Settings. Punch your holes, wrap the Lavender Seed Bombs in cellophane and attach them to the Appreciation Cards.

Step 4: Make them an Appreciation Gift
For a grand total of $4 I was able to make these adorable Teacher Appreciation Gifts. I just used our Lavender Seed Bomb Appreciation Cards and picked up a pair of gardening gloves and a pail from Dollar Tree. Easy Peasy. You can also just gift the cards if you like.

Teachers, Moms, Grandmas or even the kids themselves can unwrap the Lavender Seed Bombs and plant them in the Spring 🙂
