Calling All Party Animals! Let’s get WILD at the Safari Themed party for Cash’s 6th Birthday. I’ll admit, Cash’s parties are fun to plan. His birthday is in July so we can all be outside and use our full backyard. This party once again happened on our back patio and under the boat barn overhang. Or, Mom’s Etsy Wall as we affectionately call this space all year. I use this area all year long to stage pictures for my Etsy Shop listings, so it is a house rule that you can’t park your bikes or stack toys in this area. As you can see it’s because it’s the perfect place to have a party!

Safari Themed Decorations
This party has a whopping 8 blog posts that cover all of the food, games, supplies, How-To, and decorations. I’ll briefly cover them here and then let you take a virtual tour. First up is the Safari themed Balloon Garland. It was so much easier than I anticipated thanks to a secret little tool. You can read all about it in the DIY Balloon Garland Blog Post:
Safari Birthday Games
Once the guests arrived they were sent through Base Camp to collect some supplies and pass a Safety Check. After passing they began treasure hunting in the Sloth Sanctuary for coins and jewels. These trinkets were then exchanged for prizes inside the Trading Post.

After all of that treasure hunting and cargo loading, the Party Animals were hungry. Fortunately for them, we had built one of our most elaborate food displays yet! Read all about the Food Display Table, Punny Names and the Snake Sub Sandwich:

Safari Birthday Party Supplies
For this party, I wrote a DIY Post on how to make the Mini Palm trees as well as a resource list for all of the party decorations and supplies. You can find those here
