In honor of Pirate Month in our home I experimented, really out of desperation, with some random ingredients I had in the pantry… That is sort of the busy mom method isn’t it? Just toss a bunch of stuff into a crock pot and hope it turns out? Well this time it WORKED! These were super yummy and in fact I’m making them again tonight {on purpose}
Here is my first round experiment success:
Ingredients:
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce
2 Tb Kikkoman’s Teriyaki Sauce
1 Tb Lime Juice
1 Can of Pineapple Chunks
8 Frozen Chicken Tenders
10″ Tortillas
Taco Fixings
5 Hours in the Crock Pot on LOW
As mentioned, this was sort of a last minute experiment, so I didn’t really measure. You might call this a “finish up some ingredients” recipe in that I sort of just dumped in the BBQ sauce, so I’m not sure how much I used. I’ll guess on the others!
In the crock pot I poured in the pineapple, juice and all, then the rest of the BBQ sauce {probably about 1 Cup} then added the rest.
