I know I am not alone when I say I’m pretty excited to take my kids to Disneyland for the first time. So naturally, when we set the date the first thing I thought about is, “What are we all Wearing to Disneyland!?” So here it is in all its glory. It only took me a few short minutes days to wrangle everything I wanted to wear from my favorite stores including Amazon, Target, and Walmart. I’m also wearing quite a few things that I already had from my other favorite places including Stitch Fix and all my Toms Shoes.
What I am Wearing to Disneyland
A few key pieces of information: We’re going to Disneyland in February so the weather will be very mild. I am also traveling with my two kids, Cash, age 4 and Wyatt age 3. So when I decided what I’m wearing to Disneyland I wanted it to be functional, comfortable and magical 😉 This is the first trip ever for my boys so I really want to make it fun for them. Both of my boys love it when I dress up {I don’t know why} but they make special requests for me to be in costume on their birthdays to match the theme. So why would what I’m wearing to Disneyland be any different?
The Essential Accessories
First and foremost we must discuss the essential accessories that can turn any outfit combination of red, black, white, grey and navy clothes into a Disneyland outfit. I 7 Essential Elements that I’m bringing which I can interchange to make a whole bunch of fun outfits easily. You may very well be able to create an entire Disneyland wardrobe simply by starting with these accessories and what you already have in your closet. So here we go…
Headware
For this trip, I invested in {or made} 3 different head pieces with Mouse Ears. I strongly encourage you to buy these before your trip on Amazon and save yourselves some major money inside the park! These were way cheaper to buy online! I made a Sparkle Ear HEadband for myself to wear to the Airport from Oregon. It will be quite a bit colder here when we fly out in the morning. If you are going with a group of kids and adult I highly recommend buying this 12-Pack of Mouse Ear Headbands. They were super affordable and great quality. You can even decorate them before your trip. We have 8 people, not 12, but I liked having extra. There is a lot less risk of a meltdown if they lose one when you have a backup. Dad will have a much smaller meltdown too when he hears I spent so little on them as opposed to the $20 ones at the park! Then finally, I had to buy a signature Minnie hat!

Shoes
You have to have good shoes for Disneyland, period. I also read around the Interwebs that you want to rotate your shoes and not wear the same pair day after day to avoid rubbing and blistering hot spots. I’m going with 3 options to rotate throughout the trip. My Nikes are my go-to endurance shoes and then I love the cushion insoles of my Toms!

Accessories
Now here is where you can get fancy. I opted to make purchases on Etsy for my pretty accessories because, as an Etsy Seller myself I like to support handmade when I can. {and when it fits into the budget} I chose 3 infinity neck scarves in two different fabrics. I bought a satin one with hearts on it, since we going in February. Then I also bought an upcycled {love that!} scarf that is actually a youth size, but fits me! Finally, to bring all of my outfits together I went over the top and bought myself a Fly Girl Lip Sense from my friend Melanie. I just had to rock the red this trip! You’ll see I may be wearing it with every outfit!

My Airport Travel Outfit
Now that we’re caught up on my Accessories and Essentials, lets begin with my airport Outfit. We’re leaving from Oregon in the early morning hours… in February. It will most likely be raining. Fortunately, my last Stitch Fix box from January included this amazing Polka Dot Rain Jacket. {Did you know Jan 22 is National Polka Dot Day? Me neither} Anyway. Since this jacket came from Stitch Fix I cannot give you the exact link to it, but I found something similar: Black Polka Dot Rain Coat {similar} on Amazon. I can, however, recommend that sign up for Stitch Fix immediately and get $20 off your first box! The crop jeans that I’m wearing to the airport are also Stitch Fix! I wear them so often! In the airport, I want my kids to see me quickly so I’m also wearing this cute red Mickey Mouse Tee which came as a 2-Piece Set from Amazon. Mickey Zip-up Hoodie w/ Red Shirt Set. I’m accessorizing with my Red Knit Alpargatas and this cute Sparkle Crochet Mouse Ears Headband I made myself from my Etsy Shop Cotton N’ Kandi.

Wearing to Disneyland | Day 1
The first day we get to Disneyland will be the most exciting and magical for the boys. We’re also heading to Toon Town first thing to meet Mickey Mouse right out of the gate. We’re meeting Minnie Mouse too! So, in all my decision making I opted to wear my Minnie Mouse with Skirt Red Polka Dots {available in 42 colors!- Amazon} I think this will really make my boys smile. I’m pairing it with this Mickey Jersey T-Shirt {similar} from Wal-Mart or find one on Amazon. The first day is going to be crazy so I am going to comfort. I’m wearing my favorite Black Leggings Depot Buttery Leggings and my Black Nike Frees. And I’m going to rock my Sparkle Crochet Mouse Ears Headband again 😉

Wearing to Disneyland | Day 2
On Day 2 of what I’m Wearing to Disneyland, we have a few options. Our day starts very early with a Character Breakfast at 7 am so I’m going to need a sweatshirt for layers. It is February after all. That said I want to make sure my outfit stays consistent and not clashy {who am I kidding} throughout the day. My main outfit for Day 2 is based on these incredible Polka Dot Leggings I found on Amazon. They’re technically Christmas leggings, but in February they’re for Minnie Mouse! At our Character Breakfast, my boys are wearing white t-shirts like this one for signatures, so I’m wearing this Distressed White Mickey T-Shirt to match them. Add my Minnie Mouse Hat, Black Sweater Skater Skirt, and Black Canvas Avalons and I’m good to go! I snagged this black crew Sweatshirt at Wal-Mart for only $7 too! I couldn’t find it online to share a link with you but I’m sure your Wal-Mart carries them.
Day 2 | Outfit Change
In the event that I want to change after our Character Breakfast {kids happen} I have a backup shirt to wear around the park. I’ve also got a small Mouse Ear Headband in case I opt out of the Minnie hat. This #SnackGoals T-shirt came from Etsy!
