February: Blossoms and Blooms

March can be unpredictable weather-wise, so we often head to the Oregon Zoo in Portland. It’s less crowded this time of year, meaning more space to roam and learn about the animals. Plus, the indoor exhibits keep us dry on those rainy days.

April: Soak and Learn

As the weather warms, April is ideal for a soak in Crane Hot Springs. The natural hot springs are both relaxing and educational—kids can learn about geothermal energy while soaking in the warm waters. Afterward, a visit to the High Desert Museum in Bend offers fascinating insights into the region’s history and wildlife.
