The sole purpose of this blog is to help us put our boys through college. That is why I started it, that is why I keep it going. Every penny made from this blog {and I seek as many pennies as possible} is divided equally and deposited into their Edward Jones 529 College Savings plans. We even had their 1st birthday parties as Penny Parties to earn more pennies for College {successfully too!}

Go College!

Here is Cash’s Penny Party
Here is Wyatt’s Penny Party

It is a family goal and a we’re thankful to our parents for all of their hard word to helps through college. My husband and I met in college and both loved our experiences. If the boys choose to not attend college they can still use their money for something else… personally I hope Cash becomes a musician… he may or may not use College for that… we’ll see…

Affiliates & Associates

My penny collecting efforts are vast. I have made several Affiliate connections this year {2016} in an effort to build the blog. You will see promotional content pop in throughout my monthly posts. I may also advertise them in my Newsletters and side bar ads occasionally.

It is important to know that I view these affiliates as supplementary to the blog’s content and not my main purpose for blogging.

Styled Stock Society:  Most of the amazing styled images you see on my site, such as the peony flowers in my logo plus several post images, are from the Styled Stock Society. It is thanks to them and Elle for making my blog pretty! 😉 Join the Society too and receive 30 images every month! Here is my Affiliate Link.

Amazon Associates Program: I participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com. I organize my favorite products into an Amazon Store featured on this blog. Items you buy out of my store earn me a tiny commission. Within blog posts I provide affiliate links to specific products found on Amazon. If you link through and purchase these items I earn a 4% commission rate.

Affiliate Window: This operates as an affiliate marketing network, which enables website publishers like me to promote online retailers and their products in return for a commission. I have not yet made a dime from this one and all of my reports have been at ZERO for months… I will let you know if it ever develops. I think I’m doing something wrong…

BlogHer Influencer Network: This is a group of women bloggers who support each other and cross promote great content about being a mom, woman and business professional. Eventually I will be able to work my way up into paid post ppportunities. I’ve got a long way to go still though! This is very underdeveloped for me so far!

Ebates: Don’t ever go online and buy something without going through Ebates first! It is ridiculous how much you can save {if you catch a sale} and the GET BACK in return just for linking through them first! When you sign up you get emails alerts on double Cashback days, Sales from your favorite stores and more. If you do a lot of online shopping, you should sign up for Ebates!

Every caution {including extensive research and textbook references} has been taken to provide my readers with the most accurate information and honest analysis. I have earned a Master’s Degree in Behavior Management from the University of Oregon. My Bachelor’s Degree is in Education with a Special Education Endorsement. In order to obtain said degrees I took multiple child psychology courses, work studies and practicums. I am not a licensed medical doctor, nutritionist, child psychologist, marriage counselor or therapist and the information found in this blog is not a substitute for professional advice. If I learn new information that renders old posts false or misleading, I will correct those posts. I am not bound to explicitly state when such corrections have been made but may choose to do so at my own discretion.

My blog is not meant to showcase my expertise in any specific thing, but rather is viewed by me as an outlet and a “pay it forward” sort of approach. I have a lot of experience in a lot of things as you can read on my About Me Page, but I in no way intend to portray myself as an authority on anything.

I write this blog because I am new to being a mom and wife, and am always looking to other bloggers for advice. I remember being that hugely pregnant and stressed girl, now mom and even wife at times, scouring through Pinterest to find a blog article that would shine some glimmer of hope on a problem I was having. I simply hope to repay the favor to some other stressed out woman out there (yes, YOU if it is 2:00am where you are right now and you’re up reading about another woman just like you!)

If you agreed with what I have to say, awesome. I do this to be honest, to be truthful and to hold myself accountable. I do it to be helpful, to women and to my family.
