If you’re popping over from the Halloween Party we did last year, the Kids Halloween Party | Potions & Poisons Bar you’ve come to the right place! This is the other piece of that party’s Concession Stand, a Cupcake Creature Creation Station, and a DIY Decorating Table! Let’s catch you up: For our Halloween Party we did a Concession Stand with Italian Sodas and these beauties were the other half. Here’s how it went…
Cupcake Creature Creation Station
I may or may not be known for my expert level, “Corny Food Name” game. This Cupcake Bar was no exception. From Oreos being labels as Spinal Cords to Stuffed Pretzels being Zombie Toes. The fun is in the food whenever you come to a Kelso Family Party apparently…
The concept is simple enough to elaborate on and run with it. I leaned toward the Mad-Scientist direction because it meant I got to reuse a bunch of the fun Science-y stuff from Cash’s 5th Birthday Party!
Mad Scientist Food Names & Sprinkles
I busted out all the test tubes and beakers to fill with sprinkles and eyeballs. The kids got to go crazy with their creatures and everyone was happy. Plus I got to use up an assortment of sprinkles.
Do you know how your baking drawer just begins to overflow with themed sprinkles? No? Just me? Well, these parties are a terrific way to go through some of your supplies that have built up.
I have made the whole thing into a Digital Download for you to snag on Etsy. In this same download you’re going to get my Game Directions for the Creature Creation Station Cupcake Game we did as well. AND, the Dragon Egg Hunt Game Directions. I’ve put all the downloads for this whole party into one listing.
You get the Poisons Syrup Labels, this Potion Menu, and the First & Last Halloween Name Game from the other post PLUS these. Head this way for your download: Kids Halloween Party Theme Printables- Potions & Poisons Bar
Remember these centerpieces from Cash’s Science Party? I took Grow animals, Snakes, and Sea Creatures from the Dollar Tree and put them in Voss water bottles. They look just like test tube specimens in a biology lab! Perfect for a Mad-Scientist Halloween Party Display.
I am also known for my collection of Apothecary jars I’ve carried around with me for years from my Wedding Planning Days. I’m always eager to use them. Despite this party is for kids, they did a great job around all the glass! Other supplies I used for this party include these little paint trays which I picked up at Wal-Mart and any Halloween-themed sprinkles I could find.
Wyatt was Ragnarok Thor this year and Billy dressed up as Endgame Thor. Check out our past Family Costumes Ideas.
