Hidden Treasure Bars | Marshmallow Treats

Who doesn’t love The Captain? In my search for a Pirate Month treat recipe I stumbled upon a classic idea while walking down the cereal aisle… Captain, though not a pirate is still out on the open sea so he fits, and the Berry Crunch totally looks like Pirate TREASURE so win, win! Sorry Snap, Crackle and Pop…

Armed with my Jet Puffed Marshmallows and the microwave I set out to make this awesome treat.

What you need:
1 Bag of Kraft Jet Puffed Marshmallows
1 Box of Cap’n Crunch Berries
Non-Stick Cooking Spray
Glass Baking Dish 9″ x 13″
Mixing Bowl
Microwave
{Yep! That’s it!}

Toss your bag of marshmallows into a microwave safe bowl and melt them in the microwave. I did two rounds of 2.5 minutes.

Measure out 4 cups of cereal and add it to the melted marshmallows. Mix until evenly coated.
 Spray a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and spread out the mixer evenly.
Get some choice looks from your infant when you tell him he can’t have any….

Let them cool completely and “harden up a bit” then cut and serve.
