Enter the easiest Safari Birthday Party Game ever that literally lasted the entire party. Cargo Loading, also known as stacking cardboard boxes. The kids had endless fun and all of us parents sat back {a little dumbfounded by the simplicity} enjoying the entertainment.
Cargo Loading
You guessed it, the concept is pretty straight forward for Safari Birthday Party Games. All you have to do is stack boxes. That’s it. Bonus fun is knocking them all down so you can do it again!
What you need

The actual list basically builds itself if you’re planning a party… just let all of your Amazon Prime boxes pile up for a week month, yes, we’ll say month if my husband is reading this. You don’t need to do anything other than tape them back together if you’re staying simple. BUT, if you’re excessive elaborate like me, you can embellish the boxes to fit your theme. For that, you only need a quick trip to Dollar Tree.
Speaking of Dollar Tree, you’ll notice that one box with the orange tape on it… That’s the box they shipped all of the coconuts in for the Elusive Leopard Torch game. If you’re not already accustomed to ordering in bulk from Dollar Tree it may be time to get familiar. If you go through Ebates first you can get Cashback on your order, making this even more affordable!

Dollar Tree Supplies
If you’re going to Dollar Tree and not ordering anything online here is what you should grab… In the section for closet organizing, you can get this Con-Tact Quick Cover drawer liner material by the roll. It looks like wood! These are then cut into strips and used to line the edges of your boxes. You can see the ones I did in the pictures. I got lazy and didn’t do them all. If you have more help or a team of people for a VBS Camp, you can make your boxes look VERY cool.
I did, however, wrap most of my boxes in the craft colored Mailing Paper roll that I found in the wrapping paper section. This covered up a lot of the Amazon shipping logos and stickers. I also used a little bit of leopard print duct tape because I couldn’t help myself.

The next step in pulling your theme together is taping these *cargo* stamps to the boxes. I made a Printable you can download on Etsy if you’re interested.

Playing the Safari Birthday Party Game
All you do from here is set them out in your yard and the kids figure it out. They do the figuring very quickly too! We did give them a few rules so that the game lasted longer such as no crushing/punching the boxes. At the very end, before the kids went home we let them do that!
