Here are all the Party Details for the food Ideas from Wyatt’s 7th Birthday Party. Wyatt is a big sports guy, so obviously we had to throw him a Sports-Themed Birthday Party that covered a few sports he loves. Let’s take a tour through how it all went.
Sports Party Food Ideas
If you haven’t caught on yet, by all our past parties, I put a LOT of emphasis on the food being a part of the decor. It’s something you have to buy anyway, so why not make it a part of the show?

Concession Stand
The overall goal for this party was to pass “levels” by training the Pokemon out in the yard. When the group passed a level, they added a “prize” from the main table to their Concession Stand Bucket. In the end, we all took our concessions into the garage for a DIY Theatre showing of Space Jam. The Kids loved it!

One of my favorite party staples that I’ve been working into every party lately is these custom-flavored Cotton Candy Bags. I drew the basketball lines on these clear bags after she delivered them. If you’re local, in the Salem area, I highly recommend Sticky Fingers Cotton Candy!
I also got this edible food marker to draw basketball lines on hamburger buns. How cute is that?! Snag your own on Amazon: Edible Food Markers.
Use that same set of edible markers to draw red baseball laces onto white chocolate melts for this Sports Themed Party Mix. It included pretzels that look like nets, almonds for footballs, and of course, the white chocolate baseballs.
One of my favorite DIY Details is these Die Cut Basketball Backboards. I’ve added them to my Etsy Shop. Shop all Basketball items on Etsy. Wyatt has always wanted to try these cheese balls when we pass that giant bucket of them in the grocery store and today was the day! They made the perfect little basketballs to fill these cups. The next easiest details were these cute chocolate pudding cups. I used a white Sharpie Paint marker to draw football laces on them.
